The call for WordCamp Poland 2016 speakers is at the halfway point. Only until the end of May we are waiting for your applications. It is worth to hurry – the first names will be announced early next month! How and why to become a speaker of the largest Polish WordPress conference? Find out below.
Being a speaker at WordCamp not only gives you prestige and an opportunity to test your knowledge and skills in public speaking. It is also a chance to present yourself in front of a wide audience, meet interesting people – including potential customers or co-workers. In addition, each speaker receives a ticket for the whole conference, and an invitation to VIP dinner with all the speakers, sponsors, special guests and organizers.
Are you a novice WordPress enthusiast? No worries! Participation in WordCamp means you will spend two days in the company of the most open and friendly IT community in Poland.
We especially welcome girls!
Our aim is to achieve gender parity among this year’s WordCamp speakers. Whether that’s going to happen – depends on you!
Have we convinced you?
The theme of this year’s WordCamp is #creativity. Why? WordPress plays a big role in the creative industry – used by artists such as photographers, graphic designers, bloggers or writers. What’s more – being a WordPress developer requires creativity, open-mind and an adventurous soul. “Making the Internet” is not just about writing code – programmers and developers are creative by nature and not afraid of the challenges posed by the world of new technologies. Hence the slogan: “Code is poetry”.
