Only until the end of May we are waiting for your applications. It is worth to hurry &#8211; the first names will be announced early next month! How and why to become a speaker of the largest Polish WordPress conference? Find out below.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Being a speaker at WordCamp not only gives you prestige and an opportunity to test your knowledge and skills in public speaking. It is also a chance to present yourself in front of a wide audience, meet interesting people &#8211; including potential customers or co-workers. In addition, each speaker receives a ticket for the whole conference, and an invitation to VIP dinner with all the speakers, sponsors, special guests and organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Are you a novice WordPress enthusiast? No worries! Participation in WordCamp means you will spend two days in the company of the most open and friendly IT community in Poland.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>We especially welcome girls!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our aim is to achieve gender parity among this year&#8217;s WordCamp speakers. Whether that\u2019s going to happen &#8211; depends on you!<\/p>\n<p>Have we convinced you?<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" style=\"background: #03a9f4\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1zFdCbpPv0tb7VtgBSg0Etk6Cc0I2BvaErKYvfnfOhXY\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\">Become a speaker!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s WordCamp is <strong>#creativity<\/strong>. Why? WordPress plays a big role in the creative industry \u2013 used by artists such as photographers, graphic designers, bloggers or writers. What\u2019s more \u2013 being a WordPress developer requires creativity, open-mind and an adventurous soul. \u201cMaking the Internet\u201d is not just about writing code \u2013 programmers and developers are creative by nature and not afraid of the challenges posed by the world of new technologies. <strong>Hence the slogan: \u201cCode is poetry\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t let <strong>#creativity<\/strong> limit you! Proposals may go beyond this theme. We are waiting for lectures which fit into one of four paths.
